Adriano Fuorivia

Adriano is the Founder and President of Elev8ed Sports Solutions.
Adriano has a wealth of experience in the world of performance tennis with a proven track record in coaching excellence.

Adriano was the development coach for former Wimbledon Junior Champion, Junior Davis Cup Champion, US Open Junior Doubles
Champion and now ATP ranked Denis Shapovalov, alongside Denis’ mother, Tessa.
Denis has reached a career high ATP ranking of 20th in the world, has wins over tennis legends such as Rafael Nadal and was the youngest player since 2005 to crack the top 30 in the ATP rankings.

Adriano is currently a Consultant for Tennis Canada and is certified as a Tennis Canada Coach 3. Adriano has been Junior Davis Cup Captain for Canada and has been a large component in Tennis Canada’s National Training Centre and Ontario Tennis Association’s Provincial Training Centre programs. In 2016, Adriano was awarded the Tennis Professionals Association Coaching Excellence Award.

Adriano has been the coach of several ITF ranked Canadian juniors, including Josh Lapadat (career high #164) and Ilya Tiraspolsky (career high #384), as well as Romania’s Sebastian Gima (career high #106). In addition to their international success, Adriano’s
players have won U16 Canadian Nationals, U18 Canadian Nationals, and U18 Romanian Nationals, on multiple occasions.

After a few seasons’ hiatus, Adriano is once again working and touring with Denis Shapovalov and his mother, Tessa, while continuing to lead the tennis development of several of Canada’s next generation of great athletes.
